LAW FIRM SPECIAL
We will soon be launching a nationwide campaign for providing services to law firms. It will include SuperReading®, Goal Achievement and Coaching. We expect the response to be very positive. If attorneys and their staff spend as much time reading as we’ve been led to believe, this will be one of the greatest boons to their industry since the divorce. All kidding aside, the time, money and energy saved by SuperReading® alone will be staggering. Our goal is to save American business 1,000,000 hours per year. Law firms alone could easily fulfill that, with the amount of reading attorneys need to do. With the goal achievement techniques they will win more cases. With the sales and rapport-building methods they will have more business. By introducing them to both new and traditional stress reduction techniques, there will be less burnout, better employee communication and more team spirit and cooperation.

“Ron - I and a friend spent the summer interning at a law firm. I can offer some insight into the use of SuperReading from the law perspective. I found it very useful for litigation type work. This involves reading through many cases (possibly hundreds) looking for quick insights. In general, cases are arranged in such a manner where there is a very useful indexing system which guides you to the key points. I would find if the case was relevant by quickly reading this key point list. Then if the case was on point, I would quickly read the facts and then just the legal analysis for the point I was interested in. With my new skills, I find that I can do "litigation" research much faster than anyone else I know.”

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Question 1. If this is so great, how come they didn’t teach it in law school? Answer 1a. What APS does is outside the realm of teaching the law. There’s a lot of essential things you do that are not taught in law school. Examples: computer skills, choosing partners and reading maps. Have you not upgraded software because it’s not the version they had in law school?
Answer 1b. Law schools have been around for hundreds of years. We’ve been around since 1992. Given time, and the huge reading load of attorneys, it’s logical that our methods will eventually be adopted. You can wait around, or gain the advantages now. Each day you wait wastes 1 or 2 hours. Perhaps more. John Stuart Mill said: "Every great movement must experience three stages: ridicule, discussion, adoption." It’s only a matter of time.
"An education isn't how much you have committed to memory, or even how much you know. It's being able to differentiate between what you know and what you don't." -Anatole France
Question 2. I’m already a fast reader. What do I have to gain? Answer 2a. You may be faster than most people you know. According to research, you’re probably reading 25% to 100% faster. That means they are reading at about 5% of their potential, and you’re at 10% of your potential.
Answer 2b. Faster almost always means lower comprehension/recall. Speed alone is a poor indicator of your ability. Take our online test and get your Reading Effectiveness score. If it’s below 500, you need to reassess your abilities. If it’s above 500, you’re extremely gifted and we can hone those skills into the 1,500 to 2,000 range. CLICK TO TAKE THE TEST

THE COURSE: SuperReading is a series of 6 classes that meet once a week. The first class is 2 1/2 hours, while the remaining 5 classes are 2 hours in length. Participants will learn techniques to enhance comprehension, speed, recall, memory, focus, vocabulary, learning and attitude.
There is homework each day, which can consist of work-related reading. Otherwise, inspirational and informational homework reading is supplied. Some class time can be used for work-related reading.
The goal is to at least triple the overall abilities of the participant. By continuing to use the techniques, graduates continue to grow in their abilities. Any missed class can be made up, and graduates may repeat the course if they desire at no cost, when a seat is available. Other materials are made available to participants during and after the course to further enhance their experience. Various prizes and incentives are also provided in the course, as well as daily emails to inspire them to greater achievement.
Beyond that, SuperReading has been described as “invaluable, awesome, amazing, a must-have course, well designed, inspiring, life-changing and fun.” All we know is that whether people come in excited or skeptical, they leave feeling more confident in themselves and knowing they have participated in something important.
